Receptionists at the CCSF clinic will give students a bookmark-sized piece of paper with a map, address and phone number of SF City Clinic. City Clinic is an offsite, downtown San Francisco location where people can get rapid HIV and other STD testing done. Testing is free and can be completed using a fake name or alias.

Many students will, for a variety of reasons, skip the trek to an offsite, downtown clinic. CCSF charges a yearly fee to students to provide the Student Health Clinic. It would be nice if they would provide the services they stated they do. The HIV testing kits can be obtained free of charge from many places - UCSF Positive Health Practices, City Clinic, SFDPH, and more. The test takes about 5 - 10 seconds from start to finish and could provide instant peace of mind. Why do I pay for services that are supposedly available that are not? "Get this done here." and we have charged you for this, but we don't provide it.Sounds like buying a pig in a poke to me.
